Stop Motion 5/20/15
My animation was about the life of a tree. It showed the tree as it grew until it finally got burned down but another tree took it's place. I chose to do my video about this because trees are one of the few things I can actually draw so I thought this would work. I would rate myself a 6 because I put some effort into it but not a lot and the camera was very shaky and wasn't still. If I could redo this I would take some more time to keep the camera lined up and to make the slides line up better because the camera was shaky and some of the slides were out of order. I think that mine was different because I made the tree die in a very dramatic way even if it wasn't that bad. I really thought that I went out of the box. I feel like I deserve a B- because I didn't put a lot of effort into the project but I still tried to make it come out well and it wasn't too bad.

Unethical Pratice
I think that people use unethical practices to cheat because they are lazy and don't want to actually do the assignment. They also could be under a lot of stress and all the work they have just overwhelms them and they can't take it all. I think that Sandra should be let off with just a warning because she was just trying to help him and didn't actually copy someone else's work. She was the on whose work was copied so I think she should be left off with a warning. Some of the problems that they could face are getting into another university. It's going to be harder for them now because they have already copied once and no one wants someone who copies in their school when they could get someone who doesn't copy someone else's. At K-State they use the Honor and Integrity System which is an attempt to stop people from committing plagiarism. If you are accused you have the right to argue that you didn't do it. You have to follow a process about to argue against what you were accused. If you end up being caught you can get expelled or it could even up as an expulsion.

Sphero Investigations
Lesson 1: Speed, Time and Distance-
In lesson one we learned how to change the speed, time, and distance of the sphero. We also learned how to calculate the speed of the sphero for how fast it went for a set amount of time. We also learned that even when the command stopped the sphero still had speed behind it and would continue to move.
Lesson 2: 2D Geometry-
In lesson two we learned how to change the color of the sphero to chow use when it went to a new command. We also learned how to make shapes with the sphero using angles such as triangles and pentagons. We also learned how to find the angles to use. To find out what angles to use you would just take 360 divided by the number of sides your shape has then double that number till you get back to 360.

2/19/15 Wireless Connection EverFi
People can be more responsible with using and paying for their cellphones by watching how many texts/calls they are making and watching what their plans cover. Also by changing their plans when it is needed. Some dangers of texting while driving are not paying attention to the road, you could hit someone and be badly injured. People can designate a someone to send all their texts for them, tell everyone before hand that they are driving and finally just not responding to any text and enjoying the quietness of the drive.

SixthSense Technology 2/17/15
Four things that I learned that I thought were amazing were how they got it going from this huge bulky device to something really small. Also how you could do it on any surface anywhere in the world and not just on a special wall that they made. Thirdly I thought how it could take just a random piece of paper and let you use it like a tablet. Finally I thought that you could play games and get them to actually work with just a camera and they look decent. But this technology could be bad by anyone could see what you were doing and steal all your information.
